i called up Copes today at lunch and stocked up on high cap AK mags. they said they had a big run on them but still had some in stock. also got the tapco adjustable stock for my new saiga 7.62x39 just for giggles.

A friend of mine that works for a gun store in a small town said they did over 4 grand worth of business by 3:00 pm and that they still have 2 hours to go. The firearms distributors have almost run out of assault rifles of every type. One word of advice is stock up parts and magazines. That's where the choke point will be when guns are banned.

$4,000 is not a lot of money for a gun store. 5 decent AR clones will rack up that amount of money in minutes.

i feel many gun stores and manufacturers are waiting for the results. after tomorrow, we may see more product hit the market, but at a much higher price.

there is that saying "when there is blood in the streets, buy".

if there is indeed civil unrest, people will buy - more, on top of the fear of the obamination.

Went to the gun shop yesterday to look for a range bag for the Mrs. Ending up playing with the Sig 250 .40 and especially now that she likes my XDm...

my local shop was cleaned out of xd9 16rd mags, so I had them B/O a few for me. Also had to wait 5 days for my XD9 service to come in, but they had 1 of every other kind on display. Maybe the XD9 (pressumably being most popular) is getting hard to keep in stock?

They were also cleaned out of blazer and winchester 115gr FMJ's.
