this could be the coolest thing I've seen in a long time!
If this guy went open source with this I bet it would be scary how good this system could be in little time. Then again if he was smart he would get some little programming and mechanical engineer students together form a corp and get rich off goverment contracts.

I wish I would have thought of this for my senior project at school... it sounds like a fun project!
FYI, you can get a cheap version of this for your cubicle, for those of you working in cube farms... Room Defender. And then, if you need extra cube security, go with the Lazer Trip Wire.

my dogs love to run to the side of the house and bark through a hole in the wall at all hours. which means I get up yell at them and bring them back inside. a squirt gun model would be awesome!
