Show New Orleans, LA how you deal with the aftermath of a hurricane. This has shaped up to be the year of 100 year storms so far

The UN has a hurricane machine on the coast of Africa! It's a conspiracy to confiscate guns in the US starting with the Gulf Coast

its Bush's fault... he caused global warming, but we cant prove that this is the direct casue of gloabal warming... but its still Bush's fault.

i already built a perch on the roof of my house so i can yell at the storm like Lt. Dan.

Plenty of gas for the generator and lots of rounds of ammo. Will be replenishing/refreshing the stored water supply over then next couple of days, and I live north of Dallas.

Harry Reid is already bitchin' because of how well the great state of Texas is handling this event. Considering this is the largest hurricane to hit Texas in recorded history, my prayers are with all of you.

Be safe and show the rest of the country how things should be done!

Dont count the dead before the storm gets there. Its going to drop back to cat3 before it hits land. www.nhc.noaa.gov The newsies have access to the same info as the rest of us, they just like to wax horrific to drum up ratings and make it seem horrible. Bad? Yes. New Orleans scale? No.

1) Not under sea level.
2) Not nearly the population concentration.
3) Different demographic.
4) Its texas, not the french quarter, not everyone is scared of it.
