i am very worry right now about everything that is going on for my self i am some what prepare but my fiance and her 6 kids are not last year she move in to my house becose of some personal things have happen so i was not able to prepare my self to well or the kids or my fiance trust me feeding kids and getting them to school it is not easy so i do have food for at list 5 days and some ammo plenty of mags for my AR-15 at list 20 magz but not a lot for all 3 9mm maybe 100 rounds but have about 450 rounds for the mark II .22lr and 100 rounds for the xd .45 and about 120 rounds for the AK-47 to some of you that might be ok but i am one of dose that thinks to have extra is better specially for survival so it dose worry me what happens if the SHTF ????????????

I try and keep 1000 min. on hand for each gun in the house.

IMO.
Sometimes it dips a little low b/c money runs short. But I try and keep it at that number

I don't think the S will HTF, nor do I think the economy will tank as bad as predicted.

However, I always keep survival supplies on hand. My wife and I have 96 hours worth of fresh water, and 120 hrs worth of dry food stored in our apartment. I have about 500 rounds for my primary assault rifle, 500 rounds for my bolt rifle, and 500 rounds for my handgun stored here as well, plus reloading supplies.

I'd rather have it and never need it, than vice versa.

my personal oppinion, if the bail out deal fails, the s will most definitely htf.

People are all bundled up and warm thinking that momma government is going to help them out. If that help doesn't come, then they are gonna panic. When they panic, people will get twitchy. When people get twitchy, S hits the F.

This is one major reason I have firearms I need to stock I'm a bit low right now. Ive got to stock up..... I also need to stock up other 'Survival supplies".

My naive wife was just sitting here saying that she doesn't believe anything bad could really happen.

Personally.....

I do think things will get worse before they get better.

We as Americans have lived quite an easy life, well, I can only speak for myself. I have never had to actually "survive" other than going without beer for a few days or power during a storm.

If the economy tanks....I just suggest that you be prepared to "survive" for a little while...

First of all, learn the values of punctuation and good grammer. Second, I don't think the S with HTF from this just yet. But it's always good to have the ammo and be prepared with food, water, and other essential supplies just in case.

^^^haha...i had a whole post written, and then i felt bad.

seriously, things may look bad, but our economy will not fail. the common consensus 'round here is that there will be a turn-around within the next three months (hope mccain doesn't get to cancel the debates so he can somehow claim credit for "being involved"...oops! sorry. not the pv section...). the biggest change we will see, imho, is a simplification of financial instruments. the world will keep spinning.
