hey guys got a question, I have a sig P6 and its my carry weapon, I want the cyclic rate to go higher to solve my bullet advancement problem in the top of the magazine (top round when the slide closes moves forward enough it makes it not drop free) so tactical reloading isdifficult.
So I want a faster cyclic rate, I know I need a heavier recoil spring, but would polishing help me out as well? Being as this is my carry weapon I don't want shiny on the outside, but was thinking about everywhere else (crazy I know, I want to hide the polish) but was thinking about the part
on this diagram
I was thinking about part number 7 the underside of it, how would I get in the crevices? Can I just polish the rib that advances the next round/holds the previous one down? 13/14 on the P6 are one part and was thinking about polishing it. On the same vein can I polish just the parts of the hammer that are covered on the sig? what happens if I don't want to polish all of the hammer/theres no way to black polish something and get the elimination in friction is there?
is this a bad idea? thoughts/comments? can I polish everything but the tip of the guide rod? I don't want shiny sticking out but I figure anything to make it smoother.
