Just checking in (waiting for turkey to cook) , my Garand has been lonely lately and wants to stretch its legs. The RallyPoint event at LRP this summer was a blast. Any interest in heading up to Wicen's, maybe on an upcoming Saturday?

I haven't been there yet but have heard nothing but good things and at $15/day, the price is right.

Otherwise, I can be found at Target World in Chalfont one weekday evening per week or so, just look for the guy with the Red Sox hat.

Olde City Philadelphia here.

Anyone know of a range or place where I could try out an XD? I've done a lot of research and have decided that I think the XD is the firearm I want to get, but want to test-fire one before I lay down the money. I've called The Firing Line on front street, but they said they mainly have Glocks and Berettas.

I'm in Secane, which is next to Upper Darby...Right near South Philadelphia......

I've shot at Wicen's before.....not a bad range...ton of lanes (probably a good 30-40 or so). Think they have 3 types of ranges; 25yd pistol/shotgun, 50&100 yard rifle. It is a bit hard to find though...we were looking for it and basically stumbled on it going down a dirt road and actually drove right past it!

I've shot at Target World 2-3 times now.

I'm a fan of the French Creek state grounds, basically because it's free and a good time..the only draw back to it is you're only allowed 3 rds in the chamber at a time..and you have to wait for the entire lane to clear before you can change/put up your targets, but it's all in fun. This place is also another hard spot to find..almost like you have had to of been there before to find it!

I go to Target Master a lot in Chadds Ford, PA and shot a few times at Philadelphia Archery & Gun club.

Always willing to meet up with you guys when ever we can get around to it, but I'll be out for a few months *having wrist surgery on my right wrist for carpal tunnel syndrome* so I'll have plenty of ammo to burn up. =)
