okay fellowe PA'ers.... My father-in-law to be is thinking about converting from the glock 21 to the XD45c, but he would like to shoot one first. He loves my XD-9 service, but wants to stick with 45. would Anyone from western PA be willing to let us shoot your gun if we supply ammo? let me know! I'm in Clarion County to be more specific, but willing to travel.

I'm not far from Harrisburg, but that probably doesn't help, but I have the XD45 compact and you're welcome to it.

Guess.

You guessed it.

Yo! to fellow citizens of the Commonwealth.

Now everybody post which range you are a member of and your favorite gun shop.

I joined Philadelphia Archery and Gun Club. Very professionally run and the hours are convenient. I call it the country club -- like I said, very professional operation compared to every other range I've ever been to. Also, no crybabies there. Rapid fire, whatever, no problems.

Favorite gun shop . . . Millers Sporting Goods in Linwood, PA. http://www.millersgunshop.com/ Good selection, fair pricing, great service, friendly people.

I lived in Shrewsbury in York county, for about 2 years, and am 1 mile under the line in MD now, less than 1 mile as the crows fly. I spend alot of time over in in PA though, including some of the trapping I do.

The only big gun store I know of in the area is Freedom Armory, and they have an indoor range as well. There is also a Gander Mt up in York. The Walmart we have here also has a sporting good section with shotguns and rifles and the cheaper white box ammo.

A local gun club is Seitzland Rifle Club with an outdoor range and some sort of indoor range, and a hunting club not far away is Hopewell Fish and Game and they have an outdoor range and a trout fishery. I am not a member of either though. My prefered range is off the 2nd story deck behind my taxidermy showroom LOL

I'm a new member at LRGC, but I missed the last orientation.
