Heads up for bottled water drinkers...

If you have a Speedway nearby, they have eon brand water for 3.99 which is not great but, they also have 3.00 off coupons making it 99 cents for a case of 24 bottles of water. If you are like me, every little saved goes that much further.

Buy a bottle. Refill in the tap. Even cheaper.

My little company buys countless cases of bottled water. The tap water here comes across Cali from the Hetch Hetchy reservoir located inside Yosemite National Park, one of the most pristine places in the world, and across Calif in a pipeline under gravity-feed, not even a pump in the system.

Fools, the tap water her tastes like you're in the Sierra Nevada Mountains on vacation.

That would be great, can you have my city officials put in a reverse osmosis filter, so we could actually tolerate looking at it. Here, its all rusted out, the city doesnt care and their only answers to water quality is more chemicals. Anything that comes out of our tap stinks.

I'll stick to something a little better than riverwater.

Most places put chlorine and fluoride in the tapwater, as well as numerous other substances that get in there by themselves, and all of which are bad for you. Many bottled waters are just filtered tapwater, and I'd bet that they focus on making it taste better, not being healthier.
Next time you are somewhere that sells rat poison, pick it up and have a look at the ingredient. One ingredient, sodium fluoride (same as they put in the water and toothpaste). They say that the levels are so low as to not be poisonous, but I'd love to be able to talk to one of those people, and take out some rat poison, put a little on the tip of a toothpick, and ask if they'd be willing to prove how confident they are of that and eat it... or smear some on their teeth.

Am I the only one who has NEVER bought water? If I'm going to buy something to drink it's going to be something tasty. At home I have fresh clean well water with no added chemicals!!!

Our city water tastes like a swimming pool.

Even an expensive under-the-sink filtration device is going to be cheaper than buying bottled water.

Berkey water filters are excellent, and with the fluoride filters(55$, lasts around a year give or take) remove all of the stuff except for clean, pure water. They come with the standard filters, which get 90% of the crap out. Ends up cheaper than bottled water, no plastic bottles to deal with, and is as clean as, and in many cases cleaner than bottled water.
Most of the cheaper filters do little other than make the water taste better.
