What is the deal with the mod situation

Did anyone notice that Old School isn't listed as a moderator on any of the forums but the Pistol-Gear section?? If I remember correctly he was a mod for all of the sections. Am I remembering this incorrectly, or did something change??

Hell, I would just like to see Kermee show his
face again.

Don't know the story with Old School. I am like
you though, I don't see his name on anything except
his own vendor site.

I think that OS suggested a halt on one of the 'race'
threads and the troups did not line up to that very
well. Could be OS just thru his hands up and gave
up as Mod because of that. The two incidences were
about the same time. I am speculating.

As an Admin, I also have Mod rights. Don't worry, I am still watching.

Regarding the "race" thread, I am going to stay out of that one. I said my peace and will move on.

I am glad OS still has some authority here. The one thing that tends to keep me from hanging out more then I do are all of these crazy off topic discussions that seem to crop up.

There is way too much for one person to do on this site. I think we should hold some elections and nominate a few more Deputy mods to help keep the peace around here.[/code]

I do try to keep the forum on track (XD &/or gun related), however many enjoy the off-topic banter. For me, I just ignore it until someone brings it to my attention or until I see the posts getting high. That usually means that a few people are arguing a point and the discussion is now off topic.

At this point, I am trying to keep XDTalk on a higher level than some of the other discussion forum. The trick is to get help from the membership, to help police the forum within the original intent. I never understood why someone feels compelled to post their every thought, about every topic.

BTW, AJames now has moderator rights (from what I can tell).
