After I retired in 05, I did some searching & found the address of a guy I served in Vietnam with in 63 & 64. I contacted him & we swapped emails from time to time. After not hearing from him for quite a while, I got an email from hi wife that he had cancer. I got an email this morning that he died yesterday afternoon.

Rest in peace, Adam, from Asheville, NC.

It is nice to know that you had reconnected with him, though.

I'm hearing way too many cancer stories and deaths recently, with the people seeming to get younger and younger all the time.

Sorry to hear it man. As someone already said its getting younger and younger had a guy i know died last week from colon cancer he was 23 yikes.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. Cancer is definitely scary stuff.
