"Comfort Capsules" to allow our top brass and leadership to travel in style while the airmen, soldiers, and Marines get to ride crammed together in nylon net jump seats on board military transports. More fraud, waste and abuse of power from the feds.

Things like this really make you wonder about the priorities of top Air Force Generals during war time. Such a clear waste of government funds!!

It makes me wonder about the priorities of the leadership of the civilian and miitary of this nation during time of war.
I think part of the publicity is that the AF has been in the news recently for flying nukes across the country, shipping nuke parts to taiwan and for the 50 million dollar Thunderbird TV crap. It shows that those at the top seem to be more interested in their own comfort and perks than getting the job done. I agree that it is a huge waste of funds that could be much better spent. What puts the politicians and generals so much further above the guys and girls that are the ones doing the work that they need a cocoon of civilization to be taken everywhere with them when the grunts are, at best getting palletized airline seats or chartered airliners to take them to war.

This is sad. The Feds's priorities are messed up.

What is so bad with the Lear jets that they get now? Its stuff like this that makes me respect the young officers that I worked under while I was in.

remember that scene in saving private ryan when the plane/glider went down because it was up-armoured to keep a general safe. it wound up killing all the men on board...all they could say was "fubar". 60 died to save one. kinda strange, eh?

"Government waste."
"Idiotic stupidity." "Deadly murder." "Redundant repetitions."
