Suggestions On Getting Wife to Understand

Also might suggest getting her the "The Concealed handgun Manual" by Chris Bird, a really good read. I am looking at getting his other book "Thank god I had a gun" as well. The instructor told me about these books b/c he said most women like to read all they can before they will handle a gun, helped me!!

OOOH I have those 2 books! Very good books. Also there is a book by Paxton Quigley ( a woman) written for women. It tells why a woman should be armed- including true stories, about different guns( wheelgun vs semi auto for instance), ccw lisc's, training classes, dealing with children in the gun owner home, and all the other beginner stuff, but all written directed to women. It's called "Armed and Female" or something.

Ease them into it. Dont say "here this is a .44 mag shoot it"

I might have to go to the book store or amazon and find those. My wife reads, so maybe this will help. If nothing else I'll read them whether they are geared towards women or not.
