Got a good deal on a Blackberry 8700 for only $50 from a coworker. Always liked gadgets and stuff

So anyways, I currently have At@t service but no data plan. Is that my only option to be able to surf the internet? Dont really wanna pay the extra $30 but if thats the only way to read countless posts on XDTalk in my break room at work then so be it

But I understand when my Iphone 3G comes in I'll get a $30 Iphone plan.

My wife has a blackberry with data, hers cost like $20 a month more for it. And mine is windows based phone, with internet for the same price. It sucks to spend $40 a month for another internet service besides the home. But the convience of it is great. For us though I really think one service would be fine, since 90% of the time we use it for the internet we are both there.

It is nice to be able to surf stuff at work though, and for me because I can not get to my home email adresses from work...it allows me to keep up to date. And lets me surf ebay...since that is also blocked on the work computer.

Time to pay the piper. No data plan, no internet--it's just that simple. I've had a Blackberry on Verizon's network for the last 2.5 years and I love being able to do some surfing and keep up with my e-mail from both home and work. I am fortunate to be able to go to any site I want from work, but this way, I can surf when I'm away from my desk.
