Not on the outside. Maybe if I pop the keyboard off, I know the wireless would be there, but can you boot PXE to a wireless card?

Looks like the Live-Cd is the answer. Hmmmm 6 min and 26 sec to boot up and get the MAC.

If anybody comes up with a better way, let me know. Thanks for the help.

No, I've never seen a computer with the mac address on the outside. Whoever came up with that must be smoking the good stuff. It's usually on a sticker on the hardware, on the INSIDE of the case. If you're dealing with a laptop, you can probably access the wireless card through a "door" on the bottom of the machine.

I've never tried it, but I'm sure you could do it over wireless. It's probably a major PITA, thought. I'd use a Ubuntu or Knoppix live CD. It doesn't take that long to boot. If you don't know how to find the MAC addy in the menus or command prompt w/ the live CD, you can always hook it in to a router and let the router tell you the MAC.

A Gentoo Stage 3 disc would work quite well. And it boots pretty quick since it just boots to a console.
