Does anybody elses wife or girlfriend move your stuff around when you arent home?? So i get up this morning and need to clean my guns from last nights range time and i cant find my cleaning kit or my punches i need to remove the firing pin and such. I ask her if she knows anything about it and says no. I tear the house apart for this stuff and pretty much conclude she stashed it away somewhere while cleaning. (known to do this) Of course she gets irritated when i try to nicely say she must have put them somewhere. I just found them about 9 hours later thrown out in the garage with some of my other stuff i didnt even know was missing yet. I then bring it inside and she looks at me and says "oh yeah" What the crap?! If i stashed her makeup or something she cares about she would be pissed that i didnt put it where it belongs....not cool -Phoenixd45

So, you've been married, what, a week? You have to understand, her stuff is important and your stuff is stupid. That's why after 30 years or so you end up in your own room that she never goes in.

My wife has learned over the years that if she moves something, she remembers where she put it. After a few car/truck builds, she learned that the rusty piece of scrap metal is actually a hard to find caliper piece.

I have enough faith in her now that if she rearranges some stuff in the garage, I have a better chance of finding it. She has major organizational skillz!

We have been married a little more than a year now....haha yeah im beginning to catch on to the double standard thing. A room to myself sounds nice...maybe i need to put a combo lock on the door. lol

I thought all men had to have a man cave. I made sure mine does in our house, otherwise I would just go nuts. But what bothers me is he does not put stuff away. Takes it out uses it then just leaves it and does not pick it up, and then does not remember where he last left it, so I go crazy next time I need said tool.

when my GF and I moved into our new apartment I staked claim to the second bedroom by putting my wood lathe, metal lathe/mill, and all my guns in it. the compination of saw dust, oil, and gun cleaner insures that she stays away lol.

I find my using breakfree often in the "gun room" it keeps her clear of there. My tennis shoes don't hurt either

grandpa always said the key to a long successful marriage was seperate tv rooms. worked for him!
