I was listening to WTAM 1100 this morning, apparently they caught the slime ball 40min later with one hand cuff still attached.

Uniontown Police. Sorry. I didn't mean to downplay your department. If I remember correctly, Josh started his career there. Either way, he felt as much of your department as he did Twinsburg. Sorry for your department's loss, as well.

Well they're now saying the suspect has a valid Ohio concealed carry permit, and his attorny is claiming self defense. This is gonna be interesting.

I saw that, and cannot believe it. This whole thing is a tragedy. Supposedly, this cat was a NURSE, also, with nothing more than traffic offenses in the past. His resume doesn't add up as someone I would expect this from. And, to complicate things, the dash cam was broken.

Josh was a CCW proponent. He told me that on multiple occasions. Somehow, it makes it that much worse for me. If alcohol was involved, as they said, why was the dude cruising around with his pistol strapped on?

People do it. They get the permit and say, "Oh I'm legal."

I've had people with CHL's chase down church vans and shoot them up. I've had people with CHL's pull out their piece and shoot up into the air for the 4th of July. I've had people with CHL's jump out of their cars and leave their gun with the prostitute in the passenger seat, and then yell at me for harrasing them. Some of my co-workers are being investigated by internal affairs for arresting a drug dealer who had a CHL, and part of the lawsuit is that he had is gun seized with the dope.

People are by and large, relatively stupid. After I became a LEO, I found out that "average intelligence" is really, really, really low.
