Question GA members I need a little help.

Ok I got the call today, so its time to move from Auburn AL to Marietta GA. I have a few questions about my CCL. I know that I have something like 30 days to get a GA DL but how long do I have to get my CCL changed over to GA. We are reciprical (sp) states but I know I need to get it ASAP. Am I safe to cary with my AL CCL while I wait and do I have to take a firearms class with GA or is it just paper work? And would it be ok to carry with a AL CCL and a GA DL? Prob not but I though I should ask.

Thanks guys
Woo

No class required. I just had my firearms license renewed, and it took one day. Use the AL license until you get your GA DL.

Not CCL related, but Marietta-related.

Went to SPSU up there in Marietta for my 5 years of schooling...check out McCracken's pub near the Square, as well as Rib Ranch BBQ, Sam and Dave's BBQ, and Williamson Brothers' BBQ. Square Bagel and La Parilla near the Square are both good eatin too!

The Probate Court for Cobb County is right off the Square in Marietta. It'll take $39.25 and about 20 minutes of your time to get a GFL. My renewal got to me in 31 days. Welcome to the NW Suburbs!

hmm good BBQ restaurants around forgot to mention that. that and a descent wing place, and a good couple bars. never a bad idea to hang at at Mazzi's pub and restaurant or sidelines. i used to live literally a 1/4 mile from Mazzi's god too many nights of stumbling home from there. anyway back to topic
