Valley Fever: Pets??
It started about 6 weeks ago when my dog had a seizure while we were in the backyard. We were not sure what happened and assumed it was something he ate or a bug bite or something. Sure enough he had another seizure a few nights ago while in the bedroom around 11:30 PM. The conditions of the second one kinda told us that it was not a bug bite and most likely nothing he ate.
Well we just got the blood test back from the vet and found out he has valley fever. Does anyone have experience with a pet having valley fever?? I have briefly read about it online but would like to get some feedback from people that have first hand experience. -Derek |

Sorry to here that. No experience here, but I found this.
http://www.vfce.arizona.edu/Content/...0for%20PDF.pdf I'm sure you can find a lot more info on the net, or better yet from your local vet.

A good friend of mine just had their dog diagnosed with Valley Fever. Apparently the treatment (drugs) is quite expensive.
