laser +light for my mossberg 590a1 14\" AOW?

ok here is the gun im talking about

so i want a laser on it since it is VERY hard to aim since i dont/cant have a stock on it. now i have seen the pumps forends that you can mount a light and a laser on but i want a more stable mount for it since the pump can be easily moved. its probably not enough to make that much of a difference but i would prefer a better mount but if not i guess i will have to go with the forend mount.

so im not really asking for typs of lights and stuff but more just different mounting options. I can put a rail on the top of the reciver but i think it would look weird mounted that far back, but then again it would light uo thge end of the barrel which would add a little bit of a scary factor but would also not be the best \'tacticool\' option. My worry would be it would light the barrel up alot and would make your ability to see stuff at night tough and might cause a little bit of night blindness

so if anyone has any advice i would love to hear it

Look into something like this:
LaserLyte : Laser Bore Sighter : Sub-Compact Laser : Universal Rail Mount : Quick Detachable Laser : Universal Rifle & Shotgun : Gun Sight Accessories : Universal Lasersight : Bow Mount
They are available at Midway.

The problem I see is that all of the solutions I can think of rely on clamp around the magazine tube, but yours is an entire pump! I don't see any room for something like this.

What you need is a ring that goes around your barrel, but is thin enough that it doesn't obstruct the pump (if this is possible). It will sit either on the top of the barrel or off to the side.

This is what I got for my FN SLP, but I am installing it on the magazine tube.
Laser Gun Sight : LaserLyte : Laser Bore Sighter : Sub-Compact Laser : Universal Rail Mount : Quick Detachable Laser : Universal Rifle & Shotgun : Gun Sight Accessories : Universal Lasersight

Do you have any clearance between your handguard/pump and the barrel? If you do, maybe the above solution could mount to your barrel.

Not sure if this will fit your model Mossberg. It says it fits some mossys but not all..I didn't read the whole thing thoroughly

SCP-140 - Shotgun Laser, Use in Remington 12 Gauge 870's and Mossberg 12 Gauge with Magazine Tube Cap - Manufactured by: FM Manufacturing

It may be a better solution if you're just wanting a laser for aiming purposes.

I like that idea! My only concern would be accuracy change when you remove the magazine cap.

Check out these from LaserMax as well.

i bet it wouldnt be too bad, i mean we arent talking precision shooting. its 25 yards max so i imagine it would at least keep me close on target
