Fun day of shooting with the family today

Lots of fun today. Had some good family "guy" time with the father-in-law, my son, and myself. All safety practices and no liter left behind, and actually always come back with more then we make.

Put lots of rounds through my XD9 Service (with new Powder River kit), and my Father-in-laws XD40 Service (also with new PR kit installed yesterday). Got to shoot alot of various guns we've been wanting to drag out for some stretching. (13 guns total). Lots of rounds were shot today.

Mossberg 20 gage pump 18" barrel
Makarov 9
Bersa 380
Ruger LCP 380
Ruger GP100, 357
Ruger SP101, 357
Ruger SR9
XD-9 Service
XD-40 Service
Taurus 1911

My 7 year old son shot his:

Chipmunk 22, mini Henry 22, and his great grandfather's Colt Frontier "Scout" 22 single action for the 1st time. He also took a turn with the 20 gage shotgun (with help from grandpa).

The Colt 22 pistol is my favorite, as the sentimental memories are attached with ever pull of the trigger. Awesome feeling to let my son shoot it for the 1st time. Shooting can be a great family fun event. Grandma, wife, and daughter get to smell all the cleaning soon. We had to put up with nail painting yesterday - payback today.

Nothing better than shooting with the boys of the family.

I took my 8 year old boy out yesterday to the range. We shot tons of .22 LR. Really put some miles on the Ruger 10/22 and the Walther P-22. My kid is loving the gun life.
