An assault weapon is a selective fire weapon. Meaning it must have some sort of "full auto" capability.

So most of us don't own any "assault weapons". We own semi-auto rifles/carbines.

I dont think they will go the AWB route again - esp. in light of Heller, they will target the ammo and high cap mags.

this is a good way to avoid the 2nd amendment issue. their argument will be "the constitution says nothing about the right to have ammo"

that is the problem right there. if it comes to that, burying them is not the answer. picking them up against the facists is the answer. you will contend that it is useless to fight against the government because they will over power joe civilians. thats right, they will. but if they start taking away our liberties then what is there to live for anyway. this country is the last stronghold of patriotism and liberty, and it is fading fast. we as gun owners have to stand up and be counted, vote, join NRA and other organizations. as goes the second amendment, so goes the constitution!!!
