I'm really starting to love pocket carry...don't have to worry about printing really or my shirt catching on the grip, etc...

I'd have to be willing to be arrested, and have my permit revoked while waiting a hearing, for which there is a 2 year wait. No one, including myself, has been willing to do that as of yet. There is one guy that I know of who has mounted a campaign to make the attorney general put it in writing that it is legal.
They have arrested people for disturbing the peace when their pistol was inadvertently unconcealed, which is a false charge, since your lawful behavior cannot be turned into disturbing the peace based on other people's negative reaction to it. If it could be, then someone with long hair could be arrested if someone flipped out and caused a disturbance because they hate hippies lol.
Anyway... maybe one day I or someone else will do it and win.

I saw this info at the academy many years ago and have used it quite a few times during my days on the job and still use it when I'm on court duty, even though everyone goes through a scanner before they get in the door. Believe it or not, just about the rules hold true for anyone carrying a knife.

I have two primary carry guns - one for late fall, winter, and early spring, one for late spring, summer, and early fall. The prime difference is size and carry options (the warm weather gun is a smaller and lighter 9mm that I carry in a pocket holster, the cold weather gun is a .45 ACP 1911 officer carried in a belt holster).

I've grown so accustomed to carry both of these weapons that I don't feel for the gun, don't have to adjust it once it's in place, and don't vary my walk or stance. The only time I would act differently is if I perceive an increased threat and, while carrying (which is anytime I leave the house), I'm always at condition yellow......

I think the best way to avoid any of these (while CC, mind yOU) is a quality holster, a quality gun belt, and a good fitting cover garment (not a duster or huge argyle sweater as pictured on the guide.)

Who cares? If it is covered, it is concealed...that is all that is legally required in Texas.
