Please help out a fellow hunter and friend

I know anymore its almost impossible to get people to help anyone they dont know so I'm not expecting much, and mods, if this is against the rules please delete this thread.

A friend of mine was injured in a tractor accident which almost severed his legs. As you can see in the letter attached he is in a rough spot. He was the only breadwinner in the family, putting his wife through med school and taking care of their 3 children. The doctors are not sure if he will ever be able to walk, and if he does it wont be 100%. His favorite thing to do, and how I met Jason, was paintball. As anyone who has ever played can tell you, your legs are the most important thing. He will never do that again. I am not going to post up my paypal info unless I get enough interest in people helping. If you would like to donate, or have any info on companies I can contact to possibly get a donation from please PM me or e-mail me at Matt@njgallivan.com . If you cant/wont/dont want to donate money or any company info please at least keep theis family in your prayers. I could not imagine what it would be like to have this fall in my lap. Thank you all for any help you can offer.

If you are local in Indianapolis and would like to attend the event please feel free. We have posted flyers everywhere and are expecting a bunch of people to, if nothing else, raise the familys spirits.

I'm not sure if I can commit to any money right now, but I'll forward the information to my friend and his wife in Indianapolis and I'll certainly remember him and his family in my prayers.

I would be willing to make a small donation. Its not much, but I am willing to help.

Did he not have disability or Life and Health insurance, or an Annuity at the least?

This is exactly the reason why I have Life and Disability insurance that almost quadruples my annual income. It does come at a price, but when you need it, it is priceless.

They have nothing. More of the kind of people who hope against hope that nothing bad happens but couldnt afford to prepare for the worst.

turbosupra1313, if it is ok with the mods, I could put $20 up to help.
I know it isn't much but if 100 people put $20 or $1, or anything they can afford, it would add up to something.
At least enough to pay an electric bill or buy some groceries.
Times are tough right now but I'm willing to help people that deserve it.
PM me or post your paypal address and I'll contribute.
Thoughts and prayers.........

I ran across this posting after reading an article on CNN that I have linked to below that covers almost exactly what has happened to your friend. The article was about a group called Farm Rescue whose goal is to help farmers who are unable to work their land due to injury, illness or natural disaster. I have also linked the website url. I hope this helps.
