Been a big fan of George Carlin, since the sixties. A huge talent. A man with incredible insight into the human condition and American culture. I enjoyed him in everything he ever did from his stand up routines, to the Tonight Show, to Thomas And Friends.

I'm sure he is sitting there now (somewhere, but not in either heaven or hell, because we all know how he felt about that "superstition") laughing his ass off at our sense of loss.

I used to have several of his albums on vinyl. I need to get them on cd and dvd, because I'll still need a George Carlin fix now and then!

Shining time station will never be the same.

Rest in Peace Rufus.

Seriously, he'll be missed.

I liked him in his later years much better than in the 60's. He "mellowed" well. I am sorry to see of his passing.
