Thanks for all your helpful social tips! We might see the guy at a funeral tomorrow. Bet he wears that jacket. I'll get Mrs 5207 to give him a great big hug, and maybe invite him to the range afterwards.

If it were me, I would just come right out and ask him. Who knows you may have a new friend that you can discuss weapon choices, holsters, carrying methods,etc.with.
It wouldnt bother me if someone asked me if I carried.

I don't see the bid deal about just asking, it's not like you're asking him if he smokes crack!!!

sneek up behind him and grab at it...that way not only do you get to find out if hes packing, but you also find out what hes packing...Id say stear the conversation towards guns...(bring up DC vs Heller) once its on guns "do you own any?" is an obvious question.

Although it may cause some humorous posts by me, I hope that people can look past it and understand that what I say is no more valid/invalid just because it may be misspelled.
