Be sure to post some pictures of the finished project...and let us know how it was received and/or judged. (do they judge projects such as this?)

You must be very proud of his interest in this!

Yes, they do judge them. They get ribbons and some money for each placing (not a lot, but if they have enough entries, they can earn quite a bit for a young boy).

At the rate this donation is going, I'll have to put the camera on wide-angle to get the whole display into the picture!

I am. He's a pack rat, unfortunately, but if he's going to be, he might as well collect cool things!

I see you already have .45 ACP, .38 spl, .357 MAG, and .22 WMR, how about .300 Savage? I can offer any of these. PM me if you need any.

The Makarov, 7.62x25, Ultra/Police, and the .303 would be great. The others are already accounted for. I suppose brass cases would be best to have uniform color, but I really don't think it will matter.

I think I've responded to everyone. If I haven't, please let me know. I probably just missed you. The response has been bigger than I expected!

Well, the cases y'all offered are starting to arrive. Michael got back from Scout Camp last night, and was amazed at the number of cases waiting for him. When the rest arrive, we should have enough cases that we will be able to split the display into two because my 8y.o. son wanted to do one as well (we just didn't have enough variety at the time). Now both boys will be able to make one! Michael will do a rifle case display, and Brendan will do a handgun/shotgun display.

This is what happens when gun owners decide to help a couple of boys.

The list has grown a bit. The boys get home later today, so I'll post a teaser pic tonight.
