i kinda know what you are going thru....you will have to make her see the light....does she shoot? if not, then try to introduce her to it....it took me over 2years...but now she shoots a bit,she isnt completely turned yet but it just takes time...she is even interested in getting her ccw permit...as far as buying alot of guns....thats still a major issue with her....but she isnt on my back so much anymore....

Is that what you call it, a "light", oh you mean for me to encourage her to go shooting and get involved in guns. Yea, right. I took her shooting once. I think she fired about 3 maybe 4 rounds off. Strangly enough, it was a target with a guy on it. She shot him in the balls, twice, once in the head. Her eyes were open for the first shot, I have the ported model, it made her cry. The other two shots were with the eyes closed and her "picturing" the target. Scary, huh?
As far as her minding if I shoot, no she dosent mind, as long as it doesn't cost any money.

Yes she shoots. Loves it. Just hates people and inter personal interaction. The funny thing is she gets to shoot more then me now with all her women's shooting groups around here. No men allowed. Sounds dicriminatory to me. I only have plate league on Wed night and now I have to take her to her garden club on Wed nights (yeah, another women's shooting group. GRRRRRRR! I have to take her as she needs to go right after work and her employer does noto allow guns on premises).

My girlfriend gives me a scowl every time I go to buy anything even pertaining to a gun. I figure, I earned my own money and I'll spend it however I wish to. As long as ends meet and the bills are getting paid, guns and ammo shall be bought.

For some reason it seems they cannot relate shooting as an activity to what other guys may do. Some may go to bars, dance clubs, sit at home & watch football, but I'd rather be at the range.

My wife tells her friends the same thing when anything comes up about me buying another gun, "Id rather he be buying guns then blowing money in a bar somewhere." When she showed interest in shooting, I ran out and had her look at the XD since it has a smaller size grip and had her buy it herself IE: paperwork and all. I am sure to buy her anything she wants for it too. She doesnt care how many guns I buy as long as the family afairs are taken care of. No one around here goes without, I dont bitch about what she spends and she doesnt bitch about what I spend. Our one rule is that if either of us spend more than $100.00 then we let the other one know first. Seems to work good for us.
