No Helmet. (sport bike post)
I want to get a sport bike, probably next summer. I see a large amount of people on the freeway with no helmet. No offense if you don't wear one, but to me thats NUTS!
My dad is the head of an X-RAY dept, and Ive heard bike stories my whole life. _________________________________________________ 2008 GSXR 600 gives me a chubby!

I have owned sport bikes and no matter what the temp I always wear a leather jacket (perforated in the summer) and a full face helmet. I hate when people say they don't like helmets and that they would die if they crashed w/ or w/o one on. They are morons, AMA racers crash all the time and walk away because they wear leathers and a helmet. This is a topic that I get very upset and enraged about... wear a helmet I don't care if your state doesn't make you.. ahhhhhhh.... sorry about the rant, but helmets are very important

My opinion is, let those who ride decide.
In WA you have to wear a helmet, but when I sent to ID and MT I didn't have to, and for part of the trip I didn't. I knew what the outcome would be if I went down, but as they say, when in Rome...

Helmate laws= laws that are protecting brains that aren't smart enough to protect the skulls they are in.
I see people riding with no helmates and all I can think is "there is natural selection at work" |

That is a sweet bike, I'm looking at getting about the same thing but a few years older. I too think that riding without a helmet is crazy, I used to see it all the time when I lived near Utah.

Back before mandatory helmets in Washington, the only time I ever rode without one was if I was cruising the strip. Honestly, I could not even justify that anymore..
