CNN puppets? - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

Alright, I ain't no new guy but this one I just do not understand.

Why is it that every place that has a TV these days has CNN on? I can appreciate that a state like Illinois blares this stuff but Texas? WTF? We were in a Firestone store and there were three "puppets" sitting there with their mouths open (I swear one was drooling) being indoctrinated.

Now I have spent a great deal of time in airports and they have had that on every TV since the dawn of time. Even the gate at DFW right across from the FOX NEWS CHANNEL store has CNN going LOL.

I watch both CNN and FOX but the chicken noodle network is ridiculous at times.

Maybe I should ask the clerk dude next time to flip the channel to something more fair and balanced.

I have been in a few restuarants in Plano and around that have Fox on. I can't tell you where right now, but I have seen it on occasion. Not often though.

CNN used to be a pretty decent news network at its origination. I think most folks got in the habit of having them on when they first started and just never quit despite the current level of wackiness.

that's how cnn gets rating...their news channel is on all over, but one watches it. In some places you're forced too only because its the only thing on. Talk about propaganda.

Personally, I'd rather not have the TV on when I walk in a place, especially if it's any of the cable news channels. It's loud and annoying, and usually just a couple of loudmouths arguing. I'm not much of a sports fan, but jeez, if you have to have the boob tube on, turn it to baseball.

We ate at Saltgrass the other night and they had Finding Nemo on the TV. Don't ask me why, but it wasn't ANY news station.

AM talk radio... Rush L., Michael S., and Glenn B. tell me all I need to know. Sometimes Sean Hannity, but I don't like him that much.
