No lawyer is going to hold you for gross negligence. Sure if you start slicing him open or try to carry him somewhere or god knows what else. Do you really know what gross negligence means??? Or willful misconduct. That means purposely hurting him.

None of those arguments hold water with me for not helping someone.

Great! I'm not telling you what you should do, I'm telling you what I would do.

Amazing, after reading everyones responses. The guy was fricken JAYWALKING! jeesh. sure the 2 cars went in the wrong lane, sure it "looked" like people were just watching and sure the LEO showed up under 2 mins (that was quick). What are people supposed to do? I didnt see any qualified nurses, doctors or EMT's around. What about the people that DID call 911? People are sure quick to rush to judgement

So it's OK that this old guy got plowed over by a car that ran a red light and was on the wrong side of the road because gosh forbid the old guy was jaywalking?

Everybody stand back and gawk, don't bother to check on him, he was J walkin', serves him right.

You can sit here and convince everybody what a hero you would of been there but you can not judge these people. You have no right.
I do expect some people with a little shred of common decency to stop in this case, and I don't think I would stop and help, I know I would. Stopping to help this guy is not being a hero, it is being a decent human being. Maybe you are too wrapped up in your own world to care about anyone else and that is fine, but don't chastise someone else for wanting to stop and help someone in such a horrific situation. And actually, I can and will judge the people in the video for not helping. Karma's a bitch and it may come back and bite them in the a$$ for not helping that poor guy.

But you keep living your life by sticking your head in the sand. That is obviously working out just great for you, as evident by your respect, or lack thereof, of human life.

When did this become about me. I am sticking up for all those people you are so quick to judge. They are all innocent until proven guilty. You do agree with that don't you Judge longtalltechsan?

They've been judged accurately and found to have no human compassion whatsoever.

Enough said. Just go about your life afraid of lawsuits, blood, diseases and zombies.
