No kidding...when it hits the fan...I want the AK...NOT the AR. We're not shooting for groups at that time...it has to work no matter what.

i personally prefer the ar-15. it has better accuracy and considering that im shooting for groups not for people its an easy choice. now IF i was to go to war or a SHTF situation an AK would be the one i would grab. i dont own an ak but i have shot them a few times, i do have an ar-15 and i have had no problems with it at all (i dont crawl through marshes or jungles or sand) i do really want to get an ak47 but i just havent came accross one i like at a price i like

I own 2 of each,I like shooting my AK's better.The AR's are fun too but just sumtin about them AK's.I just like slinging heavy lead I guess.

The original Stoner rifle was in 7.62x51 which is a much better caliber.

The early problems with the M-16 were not the fault of Mr. Stoner but the fault of the military that used the wrong powder to load the ammo.

That and they refused to chrome line the barrel like Stoner told them to.
