BROWN finally did something for me

The UPS guy (or "present guy" as my daughter calls him) brought my S&W 686 back to me after it took a little trip back to Smith for the "L" frame modification. Apparently the previous owner(s) didn't send it back for the recall before I bought it last fall.

THEN...

less than 20 minutes later, the gun shop called ~ my LCP is in. I can pick it up tomorrow.

What a GREAT day. Can't wait to hit the range on Monday !!

Over Memorial day I got my first AK off of lay-away, and an hour later my Dad gave me a brand new P3AT out of the blue. That was a nice day for me. So I can relate to getting a lot of good news at once. Usually it works the other way for me, so it is nice to relish the days that work out.

i was in shipping for 3 years, and there was nothing fedex could do that UPS didnt do better. but i guess its not the same in all areas.

Fedex Express was awesome. fedex home and ground. . . not so much. i almost got a job at fedex a few years ago. While I appreciate Fedex's anti-union stance, IMHO, UPS provides a superior level of service.

USPS brought me a Comp-Tac MTAC holster yesterday! Now I get to look at it for a month and a half while I wait for them to bring me my permit.
