I heard someone outside one night and went outside with the XD45 Mexican carry ( I always keep some shorts draped over the bedpost). By the time I had made it outside the guy was already running (judging from where he was he must of started running when he made the noise initially). He made it to the tree line about 40yards or so from my doorstep. I really wanted to fire off a couple rounds in the air but I have neighbors so I just yelled, "don't come back here, we have guns here!" I have since installed motion lights and made my security system operational and I keep it real dark inside my house.

Nothing serious. Just a little scare.
