Shootout Wilmington, OH

I am a proud member of an Buckeye Rangers, which is in the Ohio Fast Draw Association. The other day there was a friendship match amongst members of the OFDA in Wilmington, OH. Here are some videos of some of the parts of the match. We use wax bullets and shotgun primers loaded into a precut casing, They go into a single action revolver(usually a Ruger). Then when the light on the target goes on you draw and shoot.

This is all cellphone video by the way so turn off sound because it got messed up in the upload.

Walk and Draw Event(I was the odd man out on this one so thats why its just me shooting it and not a second person also doing the event)

I missed with that shot shot too high and hit the ceiling above the target

You can see me gesturing with my left hand where the shot went. Off to the right of the target, went right past the ear.

This was the first one I hit after m first two misses. Head shot the target. The cameraboy(you can see him 2 videos down) got this one right with my phone. I believe this was the .89 seconds. My next two were in the .6s and .5s.

Shooting Doubles Event

Missed the first target and hit the second target 0.790 seconds

16 ft Standing Wax(two people on the line but all you see is the one because I was outside the door) The shooter you see is 15 and he is much faster than me.

He told me this one's probably one of his misses. I'm doubtful, If I had kept recording I would be able to know for sure.

I wish I had know about this. My son lives three miles north of Wilmington.
