I have yet to meet anyone from Iraq who considers them to be awesome. They are described as cowboys who get in the way.

It seems that, even if they got the plane for an awesome deal, prop planes open themselves up to attack much easier than jets, and have a more limited role in the battlefield than jets, as they don't have the speed to react instantly to attacks, etc.

I agree. Blackwater is nothing but trouble. They may be cleaning up over in the sand but those guns could very easily be turned against us...

I know a guy that does contracting in Africa... Knowing him, I don't believe all the crap that mercs get.

how well do u know him? based on your personal relationship with this cat do you think he'd ever follow orders to work against U.S. citizens? ex: like taking or guns or our lives like someone else mentioned?

Interesting....I wonder what they plan to do with only one plane. You'd think a fleet of helos would be more in keeping with what they do.

My guess is, to the best of their ability, they have not prosecuted anyone who didn't break any rules.

Recon? I dunno...that's a question I was going to ask myself. Personally, I do not trust them They're hired guns who will do any job as long as it pays. Their cause is money, not protection.
