Snakeoil is right!! Do we keep going there cause they move into town, put the little guy out of biz, and then they are the only ones to shop from?????
I live in a very small town, 45 miles to next nearest shopping. I for one will be VERY glad to see Wal Mart come to town! The local grocer is at least 20% higher than Wal Mart; the only place in town to buy ammo is the lone gun shop ($25 for a box of 50 9mm, $350 for a Yugo SKS). Bring on the competition!
Oh, BTW, the local grocer has RAISED their prices since Wal Mart started construction. Trying to gouge the locals for all they can get before the ball drops?
