They probably wanted to know what a surfboard was doing on the roof of a car in Arkansas!

My buddies and I had tons of rail buggys and sand rails in our teens and early twenties. They were street legal with headlights, taillights, turn signals, M.V. inspection certificates and both license plates prominantly displayed. Never had a problem. Even in a bigger town with more traffic and larger population. Surprising, as they were straight pipe exhaust, and fairly loud.

no its actually a vehicle that we take to the "dunes" around here. its a place where you go in dune buggies and 4wheelers and ride a couple courses. i say "dunes" cause its just a crappy beach on a lake where the sand goes really far inward and there are some hills. this place is about 35 miles from where my friend lives and also where he keeps it.

so what...who cares...its a cool completely street legal vehicle and we didnt feel like getting pulled over out of ignorance like we did.

look at me does not mean pull me over.

its not a real fullsize surf board...more like a boogie board or whatever...its about 4 feet long.

all i know is that it is registered and legal to use on every road in america...its insured and has proper registration....so what does it matter the color and if its steel? its completely road legal
So what's it going to take, 2 more stops? After that all the police officers in town will know you by name and just waive. Or just drive over to the station in the morning at shift change to introduce yourself.

I was just kidding, maybe they pulled you over for impersonating a surfer.
