Xd Help!!!
I know its not normal so it must be a problem with my XD or starting of one.. but the roll pin next to the "loaded chamber" indicator on the top of the slide is starting to come loose and was poking out about an 1/8 of an inch after a cleaning session due to putting 250 rounds through it..
so is this bad.. do i need to get a new roll pin? what would happen if the roll pin where to fall out, would it still function? and what does it do anyways? thx CPL Mason Oh and PS.. i have learned with this shooting session that i really dont like using the 13rd mags with my Compact.. i can feel the mag "wiggle" while im shooting.. maybe i need to get better spacers... ill be hitting you up pistolgear for more 10rd mags

yes you need a new one you can get them nearly every hardware.
it retains the striker will stop the gun not likely did it move or is it damaged? Dry firing breaks /wears them

full size mags WITH sleeves.. sorry...
and it just poked out a bit.. i pushed it back.. but this is the first time i have seen it out.. so im a bit worried

does it hold anything though?
so if replace it.. do i just pull this one out and slip a new on in?

It's teh striker retainer pin. It holds the striker assembly to the slide.

Trying to rember besure the striker doesnt slip ahead
i think the drop saftey keeps it in places as long as you dont disassmble the complete top end be sure to put the split towards the barrel(front of the gun)
