If we're all such meatheads, and you are so damn intelligent (which I seriously question, based upon your overreaction to a non-issue), then why would you lower yourself to our level by even hanging around here? I might have taken it the wrong way, yes. But turning it into a major issue? Nope, not unless I was having a really bad day and even then I would probably be too worn out to worry over it. If he insulted you or your family directly, it's one thing; a statement that could be taken as friendly advice or patronizing jab is different...there seems to have been a disconnect in terms of intended and perceived meaning. I'm not saying one person's right or wrong, but maybe take a breath before you get too offended, man. This forum is really a useful tool and is full of great people (except the occasional spammer), and it's a bummer that you've had a bad experience. How about let's all put this thing to bed and get back to talking about rust and guide rods?
