Yes, he supports your right to own SOME guns, but only if they are for hunting. When you aren't hunting, why not allow the government to STORE them for you. Yes, that's it.

I firmly believe that Obama would allow guns to remain.
I think he will gladly let hunters have one REGISTERED single shot shotgun that may only be removed from the safe during hunting season and while in possession of a hunting license.

I was planning on purchasing stock in S&W, but I think I'm going to wait to see who is elected as President first...
I was having a debate with one of my teachers the other day over the SCCC (after I wrote a pro-SCCC article in my school's newspaper and published it) and how I think that guns should be allowed to be carried by any responsible individual anywhere he/she feels necessary. My teacher argued that not having guns was the way to go, and that Obama was right in wanted to limit guns, to which I asked "You'd rather trust your safety to nothing than ensure your safety by keeping it in your pocket?"
