Another question for which I have NEVER received any reasonable response from a Warmist advocating climate control measures is simply this:

What temperature should the Earth be at? Should the temperature be what it was in 2000? Or 1970? Or 1950? Or 1900, before the automobile and fossil fuels came into wide use? Or 1800, before most of the Industrial revolution occurred? Or 1500, or A.D. 1000? Or, when?

What is the optimum for all life on this planet? Are we at, below or above that optimum? If we don't know what is optimum, how can we possibly advocate measures to move toward some target temperature?
