I have an old band saw in the garage from the early 1950's in pieces, I plan on ordering paint that will match its orginal color, cleaning everything up and putting it all back together. I also have a drill press from the 70's some time that needs a good cleaning and perhaps paint. I think that the new tools that you get from HD, Lowes, Sears, etc are crap, particularly the stationary tools. I had rather restore an old tool that was built to last than mess with the new stuff. The other forum that I frequent is Old Woodworking Machinery. Old Woodworking Machines :: Index
Pretty awesome. I am also a fan of old tools but I dont have many...however I do have a really awesome vise that was removed from the Lockheed Skunk Works when they moved to Palmdale back in '89. Its a great vise (very large), I use it all the time, and I always wonder what kind of trick bits it has had clamped in it over the years.

Agreed...that is a good combo, but these days if I came across a real nice 318ti I would probably just drive it 'as is'. Now, if the 318 had the e36 rear suspension...that would be somethin'

Try bowfishing- if you're not in a shrimp-fly infested area, you'll stay clean and it's pretty fun.

Music, I play sax and keyboard, and I listen everyone once in a while...having formal sound engineering training (dropped out right before the degree) I need to listen on really good equipment to get any enjoyment out if it.

I also build computers.
