why complain..

Everyone is complaining about gas prices, but they're still driving like a bat outta' hell. Anyone notice this besides me? I drive a pickup and i set my cruise to 54 MPH on my way to work now. Sure, it pisses people off, but with gas prices as they are, its the only thing I can really to to make the vehicle more fuel efficient.

I'm in no rush at all to get to my destination. People bitch about gas, but still do 75-80MPH on the way home from work. WTH??

I second your observation.....not only that, but people still drive 40 places in one day instead of consolidating their trips.

If we as a nation still use gas the way we have before the price hike how will we ever send a message to them about the prices? Any message we send is useless because we still pay for just as much.

Granted there are times i zoom down the highway in a hurry but im not really a gas price complainer either.

From what i hear is the demand for gas went down last month for the first time in years, maybe more people are taking cuts somewhere else...

my town is full of college kids driving in moms and dads BMW with mom and dads gas, so people still try to go 0-60 between stop signs in the city.

Sadly, in our current society it's much easier to complain than it is to actually take steps and fix what they are complaining about.

Hopefully you aren't going that slow in the fast lane, like everyone from Ohio does the minute they cross into Michigan

I usually still drive fast, but only because I get the same gas mileage going 80 as a do at 70. Also, I don't always want to save on gas...when I take my dads BBC Camaro out, I'm not too worried about gas

I drive for the best MPG I can get.

Last fillup was 44+ mpg.

I get people freaking out behind me when I drive the speed limit or 5 over.

I just smile and keep going at my pace knowing I am gettting way better MPG than they are.

This is in my honda civic.

No i stay out of the fast lane, but people still ride right up to your a** like they expect you to drive faster. I just wave them to go around. Im generally not in a hurry when I drive.

ROFL...you're just mad because we're better then you guys...

If you all would just realize that when reading speed limit signs, you always have to add ten, there wouldn't be a problem

Seriously, unless you're going 15 over, it's highly unlikely you'll even get pulled over. And the cops here put zero effort into hiding, so you can see them from 2 miles out.
