women open carrying in PA

Notice the shirt on the lady on the right...oh and if you can see the gun on her hip...what is it? LOL

We ate at a restaurant in Gettysburg with a bunch of guys who were OCing, no cops to be seen, lots of older people around and some were staring and some were gawking, but no one said anything to us. I saw 2 other XD's being worn- looked like an OD green compact .45, and the other guy had a 9 subbie. I even got to joke around with a Glock guy LOL. He asked if I would do something like throw my XD across a parking lot or range, I said yes I would do something like to prove its worthyness LOL- in fact I told him about the guy on here who had a big pickup truck or whatever run over his XD and it was just fine. LMAO these Glock guys... ( No I did not throw my XD anywhere for him- I can't handle even lil scratches on my babies, and no way I would do it in a public parking lot anyway!)

Afterwards I took my 2 XD's to a backyard range and me and the other lady had a lil fun shooting crap up. Not 1 hitch with my XD's, but her Bersa .380 had 1 jam.

And yeah I REALLY do need to lose about 50 pounds!

Was this an organized OC? Were cops notified in advance? How long did you guys carry for total? Was the establishment notified in advance?

Just curious. Thanks.

Yes it was organized, restaurant owner knew in advance and she is also a fellow gun person, but she wasn't carrying at work- concealed maybe, but not OC. I have no idea if the local cops had been told in advance by the guy who set the lunch up. We were around there a couple hours and at least one guy went across the street to a Walmart to buy ammo- OCing while doing so. I think everyone was nervous though after the Dickson City incident. Thank goodness none of that crap happened.

Now that is the way it should be! I bet you didn't have to put up with a single mugger, purse snatcher or pervert. Very nice.

I want to open carry to some of the big box stores here in Georgia - it is legal here but my wife is having a fit, she says I will get hassled a lot.
