Check out what i won!

This guy over at the high road started making these custom flashlights and selling them there not too long ago. These are incredibly bright lights, 951 LUMENS. He takes the a mag light and completely guts it so it's just the body/case and then he fills it with high performance, high quality custom stuff and in the end it's a rechargable 951 lumen maglight. So he decided to have a contest to give one away over at THR. All you had to do to enter was throw your name in the thread and he drew and I won.

He usually sells these for (I think) $255 if you get it with the battery charger and he's including the battery charger and an extra set of rechargable CR123 batteries. Supposedly this will light up things at 250 yards or better and everyone who has bought one at THR has had good things to say about them so I'm really pumped. I'm going out to my land next week so I'll get to really take it for a spin then. This thing is brighter than the 500 lumen Surefire Dominator and this guy seems to really know his stuff when it comes to lights so I think I'm going to be very pleased with it.

Here's a thread with more info about the lights:

HOLY COW!

You can really blind someone with that monster! Are you planning to build a light house? Now I fear for the deer population around your neighborhood!

I don't know if I'll shine it in my neighborhood...I might get arrested or something. Or burned at the stake as a warlock who has the power to turn night into day.

Nothing you shine that light at will ever see again. Very bright.

I think it'd be ok if you had either something to prop the rifle/light on or someone else with you to just hold it and light up the animal.
