Kahr CW9 is perfect for you. I've got one myself that I carry and I love it. You can probably find them between $400-425. It's a 3.5" barrel 9mm single stack 7+1, so it's got a very slim profile...but not too small that you need a hogue and grip ext like other compacts. Check them out...you won't be sorry.

I agree. I have a little Taurus 85 that makes a nice light clothing/summer carry pistol. At first I was concerned about the .38 round.. but was reassured by many members here that the .38 round (especially in +p JHP) is a fine self defense round.

The pistol is light, and conceals very well.. on the down side though, it holds only five rounds of ammo. I compensate by carrying two speed loaders on my left hip on those occasions where I think having fifteen rounds on me is necessary.

Well, I will be looking at pieces form Kel-Tec, the Taurus Millineum Pro, and the taurus compact wheel guns. I am kinda hesitant about revolvers because I like the "flatter" shape of semiautos.

they dont make automatics.

servicable and inexpensive revolvers though i'd buy a ruger or taurus before considering one, really.
