I haven't seen a good deal at a gun show since 1987. My local shop loves gun shows.....people go to the gun show, get shocked, then go buy at the gun shop for a lot less.

There are still a few dealers at the Dallas and The Original Show in Ft Worth that are cheap. I picked up a XD40 Service for $417 at Schramms.

I bought my XD-9 from Dr. Avery (Doc Walther) who used to be at the DFW gun shows. I went to his office and picked it up, but he recently passed away. Last couple of DFW gun shows I have gone to I always leave wondering what they are smoking.

I hate how they have tables selling beef jerky, steak knives, paintings, etc. Some of these are turning into flea markets with a few tables with guns.

Thanks for the report Uncle Buck. I almost made the drive to FW today, hoping to find a good deal or two. But decided to wait for Tyler next month. Although the last two I went to there and in Longview were too high as well.

Houston Gun Show had some decent deals on some guns. I saw a new xd9 service for $420. I mainly bought little things here and there, some XD9 service mags that I couldnt find anywhere to order online, ammo can I needed, and a pistol bag. Shipping on ammo cans usually suck. Got to see the ruger LCP I was interested in, made the decision that I want one in the future
