What the FBI can track and scan? You have no idea the paperwork involved in the FBI. They are about 20 years behind in technology. Your computer does more being idle then 10 agents in the field. LOL

Yeah, don't get your panties all in a bunch. When you should really worry is when you get the magic chip slipped behind your ear. Hell, in Texas they now have no refusal policy for DWI. That means if you refuse the breath test, they hold ya down and the ahem...highly trained cop takes your blood.

So while they are at it, maybe they will just slip a little tracking device behind your left nut. Ummm maybe your tracking number will have to match you SIG and those micro-stamped bullets you signed for or that chip will light up at the police office when you take your 16 round magazine across the CA state line.

Just some cannon fodder to think about.

You guys are treating this worse that the deal Smith & Wesson made with the Clinton Admin. ... come on now.

There was no reason to think that SIG woudl do this to the civillan market guns. Besides, don't you think they would consider the fallout fomr the consumer market if they did such a thing? Remember how S&W's sales completely tanked after their little "deal with the devil?" Well, belive me, SIG does NOT want to lose the US civillian market.

Its too early to panic on this one..sorry.

You are assuming they have a choice. Gov. will act on this to try to make this mandatory.

If/When the ATF starts checking people like that is when I quit going to the range.

If you aren't paranoid, then you haven't been paying attention.

I have never been a fan of RFID tech in the first place, even in retail. Don't want it in my credit card, don't want it in my passport, don't want it in my gun, and I don't really want it applied to the case of Dr Pepper I buy at Walmart!!!!
