About the military protecting kids at the US/Mexican border from drug smugglers? I know one of the close-ups on a soldier showed a holstered XD on his side.

Did anybody else see that?

I caught the tail end of the story but didn't see an XD. It is about time our border crisis gets some attention. The masses don't even have a clue about the battles going on down there.

It is an all out war zone down on the border and the media and our politicians have swept it under the carpet!!!!!!!!!!! Makes me sick.

As a border state resident, I absolutely agree. In AZ it is mostly an unchecked invasion, but Texas ..... Hey they could use a few gunships. Local LE on both sides seem to be overwhelmed by the violence of human and drug trafficking. While government focuses on anything but what is occurring

cnn actually aired an interview with the police chief of nuevo loredo once.

Main points included:
2 American girls given by the police to a drug lord as a present (Mexican side)
A newspaper did an article on crime, got grenades thrown through window (Mexican side)
Rape trees, the coyotes get them accross then rape the hottest girl in the group, take their underwear and hang it on "their" tree (our bank)

It's just time to declare war against Mexico for violating our Sovereignty and we need to roll across that countries police, military and govt with every armored vehicle and plane we have in our arsenal.

They ARE a real enemy and they are right there.

Hold the phone! They're kidnapping American girls and smuggling them down to Mexico? That sounds kind of unreal. Wouldn't the parents be raising some kind of media attention?

Royally screwed up intelligent analytic mind. We need more laws to protect these three rights. Ban guns in schools, it obviously works.
