I saw something similar when I worked at a range. The damage was much worse.

In all, you guys are lucky. Neat pics though. I especially liked the impression that the case left. That was really impressive!

Well if your friend is out a gun get him an XD. Glad you weren't seriously hurt. If you search around on the forum you will find a few kb's.

When I compare the case coverage from My XD 45 Tactical and His Glock 21 I would give a definite yes to the famous Glock unsupported chamber contributing to the damage. I was asking what his plans were for the gun. He said he was looking at a Springfield 1911. He also likes the XDm. I know he wants to change things up for his full size Block 21 and possibly his Glock carry (I don't know the stupid number thing.) I will post what he plans to do.
